President of the SRC Aphiwe Mnyamana has been suspended, according to Wits University.
He is one of the students who received letters of suspension for taking part in a demonstration about issues with fees and accommodations.
“I have noted the Suspension from @WitsUniversity and I am waiting for instruction from our legal advisors @AdvDali_Mpofu, we will respond duly however the peaceful protest will continue with or without me.”
Aphiwe said in a tweet.
