President Muhammadu Buhari grants presidential pardon to five notable men and 2,600 inmates.

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His excellency, Muhammadu Buhari has granted presidential pardon to five notable men and 2,600 inmates. 

Below are names of the notable men who were granted presidential pardon, they are:

1. The late prof. Ambrose Alli. 

2. The late Chief Anthony Enahoro. 

3. Major E.J Olanrewaju. 

4. Ajayi Olusola Babalola. 

5. Ex Lt. Col. Moses Effiong. 

Muhammadu Buhari has also approved presidential amnesty for 2,600 inmates but it doesn’t apply to inmates sentenced for terrorism, armed banditry, rape, human trafficking, culpable homicide and other violent offences.
