President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. issues EO No. 3 allowing voluntary wearing of face masks in outdoor settings, Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles announces.
Cruz-Angeles says immunocompromised, senior citizens, and individuals who are not fully vaxxed vs COVID-19 are “strongly encouraged” to wear face masks.
Cruz-Angels reads provision of the EO: The voluntary wearing of face masks in open spaces in non-crowded outdoor areas with good ventilation is hereby allowed provided that not fully vaccinated individuals, senior citizens.
Cruz-Angeles: — and immunocompromised individuals are highly encouraged to wear masks and physical distancing will be observed at all times.
Cruz-Angeles: Face masks shall continue to be worn in indoor, private, or public establishments, including in public transpo by land, air or sea, and in outdoor settings where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
