President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, has debunked reports that he was quietly appointed as the Manager of Lucrative Petroleum Ministry Department.
The report was spread by a popular news media, The Peoples’ Gazette. According to the news media, President Buhari has quietly appointed Bashir Ahmad as the manager of Lucrative Petroleum Ministry Department. (Read More Here).
Taking to his Twitter page, Bashir Ahmad, debunked the news. He tweeted: “A friend sent me a link to a concocted story from an online news blog that the President has quietly appointed me as a manager of the DPR, a department of Ministry of Petroleum Resources, for those who want to know the truth, the story is 100% FALSE. I am not a staff of the DPR.”

According to the DPR official, it was reported that Bashir Ahmad said in Hausa that he’s gleefully after being made the manager. After debunking the report, Nigerians told Bashir to sue The Peoples Gazette to prove his innocence.
