Popular Nigerian, Amara The Lesbian, has been denied a house by an undisclosed landlord because of her sexuality. She has taken to social media to express her pains of rejection.
Taking to her Twitter page, Amara, revealed that a landlord denied her a house because of her sexuality. According to the landlord, he says “Lesbianism” is a sin. How did he find out about her sexuality?
She stated it. She says the landlord asked her for social media handle and immediately she knew deep down that she won’t get the house, because of the high rate of homophobes in Nigeria.
She wrote: “so, I found a house and the landlady asked for my social media handle. then and there, I knew I had lost the house.
Two days later, I’ve gotten feedback from the agent
“I’m trying to get something else for you.
landlady said you are a lesbian and it’s a sin”
