Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Popular D.C rapper “No Savage” faces up to 43 years in prison on Mall shooting charges.
A Fairfax County judge found probable cause Monday to send the charges against 22-year-old Noah Settles, whose stage name is “No Savage,” to a grand jury, according to multiple reports.
“People need to know you cannot come into Fairfax County and shoot up a mall and expect to walk out with anything but a very stiff prison sentence,” Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano said during the hearing, WUSA9 reported.
Mr. Settles could get up to 43 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
Back in June, Fairfax Police Chief Kevin Davis said Mr. Settles had been associated with the 37th Street Crew in Southeast D.C. for some time.
Shortly before his arrest, Savage began streaming on Instagram Live as he made his way through a police precinct. The 22-year-old, who was surrounded by crew and loved-ones, only uttered a few words during the broadcast.
According to WRIC, the man, Noah Settles is wanted for attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm while committing a felony, and three counts of firing a weapon in an occupied building. Settles is also known as the rapper No Savage.
The shooting took place on the second floor of the mall on Saturday at around 2:45 p.m. local time. Settles reportedly got into a verbal altercation with another group before he brandished a gun and started shooting. He then got away in a black Cadillac with a D.C. license place that reads GK0174, per police.
