Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that PNB Rock 17 year old shooter’s stepmother seen him cleaning PNB Rock’s jewelry the same day of the tragedy.




A father and his teenage son have been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of rapper PnB Rock during a robbery at a South Los Angeles restaurant this month.


Freddie Lee Trone, 40, was charged with one count of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of second-degree robbery, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said in a statement Thursday.


LAPD did not have information on the young man or woman’s relationship to Trone.


The fatal shooting of PnB Rock took place September 12 while the rapper and his girlfriend were eating at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles on West Manchester Avenue, according to LAPD Chief Michel Moore. The chief identified the rapper by his real name, Rakim Allen.


“[Allen] was brutally attacked by an individual who, apparently, we believe… came to the location after a social media posting of the artist and the woman accompanying him,” Moore said.


Trone’s son, who is 17 and has not been publicly named, was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit robbery. The minor also faces two counts of second-degree robbery, prosecutors said. His case is being handled in juvenile court, prosecutors said.


An FBI-led fugitive task force arrested Trone in Las Vegas on Thursday, Los Angeles police said. He will be booked into jail there pending extradition to Los Angeles, police said.


PnB Rock, 30, whose real name was Rakim Hasheem Allen, was shot multiple times Sept. 12 at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ’N Waffles as he was dining with his girlfriend.


PnB Rock was approached by and argued with the shooter, law enforcement officials have said. The shooter robbed PnB Rock, making off with multiple items, the officials said.


The minor appeared in juvenile court Thursday and is set to return for a preliminary hearing on October 19. The woman is expected to be arraigned Thursday afternoon.


Trone is considered armed and dangerous, police said, and anyone who sees him should immediately call 911, according to a LAPD news release.
