Zac Efron is finally getting candid about his change in appearance. While many believed that he had undergone some type of plastic surgery after debuting a new face last year, it appears that wasn’t the case at all.
During an interview with Mens Health Magazine, he confessed that an accident at home caused the massive transformation in his face.
Efron claims he slipped while running at home, hit the corner of a fountain, passed out and woke up to his ‘chin bone … hanging off’ his face.
He also claims that the muscles in his face “got really big” to compensate the injury. He worked with a physical therapist to stop the growth but they continued growing.
