A youth football game in North Texas took a horrific turn on Saturday evening.
Authorities say that at 8:50 PM on Saturday they were contacted regarding an argument between coaches at Lancaster Community Park. The argument became physical and one of the male adults pulled and fired a loaded firearm hitting another.
The victim was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to Dallas Morning News, the Dallas County medical examiner identified the deceased as 43-year-old Michael Hickmon. Authorities later identified the suspect as Ex-NFL star, Aqib Talib’s brother Yaqub Talib.
A warrant has been issued for Yaqub, who police are still looking for since last night’s incident. According to TMZ, Aqib was also present at the scene of the shooting, with his attorney telling the publication that the athlete is “devastated” over the terrible loss of life. “He would like to convey his condolences to the family of the victim and to everyone who witnessed this unfortunate tragedy.”
