President Muhammadu Buhari, has finally kept his words as the “Nigerian flag” was seen flying at half-mast at the State House in Abuja, this afternoon. Recall that President Buhari had ordered for the National flag to be flown in honour of late Ibrahim Attahiru and other dead military officers.
Taking to his Twitter page, President Buhari’s aide, Bashir Ahmad, shared photos of the Nigerian flag flying at half-mast as instructed by President Buhari.
Bashir Ahmad wrote: “The National Flags flying at half-mast at the State House, Abuja and across the country, in honour of the late Chief of Army Staff and other military officers, who died in a plane crash on Friday.”
