At exactly 11:00AM today, the lying-in-state of Afenifere spokesperson, Yinka Odumakin, was held at police college in Ikeja, Lagos state. Lots of his family members, colleagues and close friends were there to see him for the last time.
Recall that a few weeks ago, Yinka, died of COVID-19 complications at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). According to his wife, here are burial rites:
“On Friday the body departs Lagos for his Moro country home in Ife North LGA in Osun.
“In Moro, there will be candle light procession at Origbo Anglican Grammar School on Friday, take off time is 6 p.m.
“There will be lying-in-state at 8a.m. on Saturday at Origbo Anglican Grammar School, Moro, followed by funeral service at 10 a.m. after which his remains will be interred at a private ceremony,” Mrs Okei-Odumakin said.
