Jamie Foxx’s eldest daughter, Corinne Foxx –whom he shares with ex Connie Kline– is one step closer to becoming a married woman.
With a heart filled with love (and all the feels), Corinne took to Instagram on Sunday (Dec. 17) to announce that she and her boyfriend, Joseph Hooten, are engaged, as reported by Huff Post. According to Jamie, Hooten asked him for Corinne’s hand in marriage.
Foxx offered a first glimpse into her relationship with Hooten in September 2019, when she shared a post on Instagram featuring the duo at a horse stable. “Spent the weekend with a couple of studs 💕🐴🏔,” she wrote in her caption.
In the years that followed, Foxx has offered a few rare looks into her private relationship with Hotten, including a post shared in October that highlighted the month before. In one image, the pair were dressed in formal wear while looking lovingly at one another.
Following the news of Corinne’s engagement to Hooten, fans flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages. One fan wrote, “Congratulations you look so beautiful and happy! Last picture lookin like your dad.” One more fan said, “You look so Safe and Happy! What A Blessing. Congratulations, you deserve this Beautiful.”
The comment section of her post is filled with love and support for the newly engaged twosome, including her father and some of his famous co-stars.
The Oscar-winner responded to Corrine’s post on his IG account and dropped precious words about the love birds.
