Agriculture minister in Benin, Gaston DOSSOUHOUI, crying as the President announces that the country has become the leading producer of cotton in West Africa.




It was an honour for us to receive Mr Gaston DOSSOUHOUI, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and his delegation, on Tuesday 13 September, for a tour of GDIZ site.


The ministerial delegation, led by Mr Létondji BEHETON, Managing Director of SIPI-BENIN SA and Mr Laurent GANGBES, Managing Director of APIEx BENIN, was invited to discover :


the progress of the construction works of the first cashew processing plant which should open its doors at the end of September 2022.

optimal storage conditions for agricultural products, particularly cashew nuts.
