Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Users changed that Morgan Freeman died on Feb 27, 2024, in Oxford, MS on Google.
Morgan Freeman sent internet users down a spiral after rumours swirled that the veteran actor passed away.

It all started when a username altadenic on X, formerly Twitter, claimed that the 86-year-old actor had been “dead for two days,” expressing surprise at the lack of news coverage.

A powerful historical drama starring a cacophony of big names hailing from the industry’s most famous director carries all the potential in the world to become a major talking point and awards season contender, but that wasn’t the case with a movie Morgan Freeman deemed of the utmost importance.

Following a four-year sabbatical from acting after a career-defining 1993 that saw Jurassic Park and Schindler’s List released within months of each other, Steven Spielberg tried to recapture that lightning in a bottle by helming dinosaur sequel The Lost World and true-life period piece Amistad back-to-back.

Tributes began pouring in for Freeman after the visual ‘proof’, with fans taking a trip down memory lane to remember him for his most famous roles.

However, many advised against the dissemination of false information.

“If Morgan Freeman died WE would know,” wrote one in the replies.

“Y’all are really sick why do yall be playing with peoples lives like this ? There’s nothing else you could’ve lied about for clout ???” another fumed.

Is Morgan Freeman still alive?
Yes, the Shawshank Redemption star is still very much alive.

Users explained on social media that fans presumably mistook singer Peter “Peetah” Morgan, member of the Jamaican-based band Morgan Heritage, as Freeman, who died earlier this week at the age of 46.
