Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Snoop Dogg holding a blunt in between his fingers in new Instagram picture.

The rapper “Young, Wild & Free” is practically synonymous with marijuana, after all. Thus, it seemed a little unlikely that he would suddenly give up on it.

However, the post seems very unclear, leaving fans perplexed and wondering if Snoop has indeed given up marijuana completely.

In a brief statement posted last week, Snoop let fans know he was “giving up smoke.”

“After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke,” the image read. “Please respect my privacy at this time.” While the humorous nature of the image and the final portion indicated something was awry, many still bought into the idea of the 52-year-old rapper quitting weed for good.

He had recently partnered with Solo Stove, a BBQ and smoke pit company, to endorse their latest smokeless fire pit—far from giving up marijuana.

The fans after hearing all of this were not at all happy with the rapper. Snoop’s video set a solemn tone as he explained: “I have an announcement. I’m giving up smoke. I know what you thinking, ‘Snoop, smoke is kind of your whole thing.’ But I’m done with it. Done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky icky. I’m going smokeless.”

Instead, he posted an advertisement for Solo Stove which is a ‘smokeless’ fire pit. “Give up smoke with the world’s most popular smokeless fire pit,” the company advertises a slogan echoing Snoop Dogg’s post.
