Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Samuel L Jackson and his wife, Latanya Richardson have reached 42 years of marriage.
Per LaTanya’s version of the events, Jackson said: “I actually had to go and talk to her grandfather because he told her he wanted to walk it down the aisle before he died.”
“So I went and asked him for her hand or whatever. And that’s probably what happened because I was on drugs and I don’t know what the hell was going on in my life. So she’s probably right, but I like my version better. It sounds so much fun.”
Jackson and LaTanya are one of the longest-lasting celebrity couples in Hollywood. The pair, who are both actors, have been together for over 50 years and have been married for 42 years. They will celebrate their 43rd anniversary in August.
When Jackson was asked about how he proposed to his wife on Monday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” the 74-year-old actor provided two stories.
