A young girl, Aphile Amahle Ndlovu (18), tragically took her own life after R9,000 reportedly disappeared from a bank account when she attempted to withdraw the funds.
According to reports, Amahle had been sent to withdraw the cash, but the ATM swallowed the card during the transaction. Shortly after, the entire amount vanished from the account under unclear circumstances.
Sources indicate that the teenager became overwhelmed with fear and anxiety, dreading the prospect of explaining the missing money to her parents.
