Megan Thee Stallion announced her new album and its upcoming release date while performing in Atlanta tonight as part of her ongoing Hot Girl Summer Tour. The follow-up to 2022’s Traumazine is titled Megan, and it arrives on June 28, via Hot Girl Productions. The rapper previously described her upcoming LP as being about a “rebirth,” taking inspiration from snakes because of how they shed their skin to evolve

While Megan Thee Stallion hasn’t shared a tracklist just yet for Megan, she’s been doling out quite a few serpent-themed songs lately: “Cobra,” “Hiss,” and last month’s “Boa.” She’s also shared “Not My Fault,” with Reneé Rapp, for the new Mean Girls movie and released a new remix of her Glorilla collaboration “Wanna Be,” featuring Cardi B.
