Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Legia Warsaw fans did ‘surprise, motherfuckers’ at their ultra section tonight
Defeated in the first leg on the pitch of the Norwegian club Molde (3-2), Legia Warsaw had a decisive return match to play against the Norwegians, this Thursday, February 22, in the Europa Conference League play-off. A decisive meeting where the Polish club was deprived of its famous ultras, among the hottest in Europe. These supporters were in fact banned from the stadium following a decision by UEFA which had their stands closed for the occasion.
Unfortunately, the Polish players were less inspired than their loyal supporters. Legia lost 3-0 against the Norwegians. Enough to leave the competition with a 6-2, cumulative back and forth.
To accompany this decision, a banner was displayed in the middle of their usual stand, behind one of the goals before kick-off. A message in the form of recognition of the victory of the European body: “This time, you won UEFA”. The banner was displayed in the “Żyleta” stand, known for its warm atmosphere and its sulphurous reputation.
