Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Governor Kawira Mwangaza’s bodyguard and son arrested by DCI over killing of blogger, Daniel Muthiani.
Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza’s son and brother, along with three others, including Kenneth Mutua, Fredrick Muriuki, Frankline Kimathi, Timothy Kinoti, and Murangiri Kenneth arrested for the murder of Meru blogger Daniel Muthiani a.k.a Sniper.
DCI has filed a request at Kiambu Magistrate Court seeking a 21-day detention for the suspects, alleging they lured the blogger with a false promise of a truce with Governor Mwangaza.
Muthiani went missing on December 2, 2023, and his body was found in Mutonga River in Tharaka Nithi County on December 16, 2023, with a postmortem revealing signs of strangulation and other injuries.
