A 29-year-old man was shot dead in the street this Thursday evening in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), Actu17 has learned.

Local residents reported gunshots to the police at around 8:25 p.m. A seriously injured man was lying on the ground in Rue Rosa-Luxembourg. The victim, aged around twenty, was treated by SAMU doctors who were unable to resuscitate him. He was pronounced dead on the scene shortly after the emergency services began their intervention.

The deceased young man was known on the social network TikTok under the pseudonym “Turkish”, where he was followed by just over 50,000 people. Many messages of condolence have been published on the social network in recent hours.

The police made observations at the crime scene. A 9 mm caliber case was discovered at the scene, according to a source close to the case.
