Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Derrick Rose and his wife Alaina Anderson, are married as Joakim Noah officiated their wedding.

Rose, 34, signed with the Memphis Grizzlies during the offseason. The No. 1 overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft is entering his 16th NBA season and has earned leaguewide respect for overcoming myriad knee injuries to endure.

When he visited the United Center last season, where he routinely draws standing ovations as a visiting player, he grew eloquent when talking about his basketball mortality.

The wedding bells have rung for the Memphis Grizzlies star, Derrick Rose. The former MVP has added to the offseason of weddings, joining 2-time All-Star, Trae Young and reigning MVP, Joel Embiid. However, the Chicago Bulls legend had an uncanny officiator for the wedding, his own former teammate.

Derrick Rose has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Alaina Anderson. The couple have been linked since 2016, when Rose was still playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Their wedding comes after the former MVP popped the question back in 2021. However, while the couple celebrated their joyous moment, Rose’s gesture towards his former teammate showed the bond they have shared over the years.

Some reports have suggested the couple previously married in a private ceremony in February 2018, so it’s unclear if this was merely a formal recognition of that day or a newly legal binding ceremony.

Rose created headlines in July 2022 when his former Bulls teammate and close friend Joakim Noah got married in Brazil, playing unofficial wedding photographer. Noah attended Thursday’s small ceremony and had a role in the wedding.

Derrick Rose and Alaina Anderson shared the happiest moment of their lives recently. The 34-year-old and his longtime girlfriend tied the knot this weekend after seven years of dating. The couple also share two kids, daughter Layla Malibu and son London Marley who were also in attendance for their wedding. However, the most prestigious role in the ceremony, officiating, was taken up by none other than Rose’s ex-teammate, Joakim Noah.

Noah and Rose go way back to when the 3-time All-Star was drafted to the Bulls in 2008. Former Defensive Player of the Year, Joakim Noah served as the team’s starting center at the time. The two shared terrific chemistry on the court which also translated to a wonderful friendship over the years. Now, Rose has shown love for his friend, allowing him to play a major role in his big day.
