Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. holding hands at the Palm Springs International Film Festival red carpet.
Robert Downey Jr. left his Oppenheimer co-star Cillian Murphy in stitches as they put on a very animated display at the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards on Thursday.
The Iron Man actor, 58, cheekily placed a ‘No Irish Jokes’ sign on Cillian, 47, after the Cork born actor’s Desert Palm Achievement Award win for his lead role of J. Robert Oppenheimer.
Robert, who played Lewis Strauss in the biopic, playfully got down on one knee as he placed the hand written note on his pal’s chest.
Other winners on the night included Carey Mulligan for her performance in Maestro and Poor Thing’s Emma Stone.
At the afterparty Carey, 38, looked sensational in an elegant gown as she posed with Mayor of Palm Springs, Jeffrey Bernstein.
She smiled while brandishing her trophy from her win as International Star Award with other guests including Danielle Brooks, William Belleau and Tatanka Means, who beamed while posing up a storm at the party, while songstress Billie Eilish posed with her co-writer Finneas.
Danielle, 34, opted to change from her red carpet look, having worn a white suit with nothing underneath while hitting the red carpet before slipping into a black dress with the same white blazer over the top.
Underneath her cropped, short-sleeve jacket was a sexy purple satin bustier. Carey — who is married to Marcus Mumford of the folk band Mumford & Sons — stood on tall black patent leather heels.
