Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Breeonna Lanier also died in car accident in Thomas Street and Marble Avenue on Highway 51.

The Memphis Police Department is investigating a highway crash that killed three people and left one injured.

Around 4:01 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Thomas Street and Marble Avenue.

Three adults, two men and a woman, were pronounced deceased on the scene; another woman was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

In an update, MPD notified the public that all lanes have reopened on Highway 51 near Thomas.
