Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Anya Taylor-Joy is reportedly being eyed to play a villain in MCU’s ‘FANTASTIC FOUR’.

While the silver-skinned Norrin Radd is the most famous of the heralds — who are granted a portion of the Power Cosmic to find planets for Galactus to consume — Galactus has recruited or created dozens of heralds, including the Fallen One, Fire Lord, Air-Walker, and Terrax. Female heralds include Lambda-Zero, a.k.a Stardust, and the earthling Frankie Raye, who offered herself as a herald of Galactus to spare Earth and became the cosmic-enhanced Nova.

That wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen (there’s nothing about the character’s stoic personality which is inherently “male”), and the idea just got a little more intriguing.

According to scooper Daniel Richtman – who broke the Pedro Pascal/Mister Fantastic casting news – Anya Taylor-Joy is being considered for a villainous role in the reboot. 

We don’t have any additional details beyond that, but Taylor-Joy as Silver Surfer would be undeniably fun to see. 

However, we think there might have been some crossed wires in previous reports.

If Pascal signs up to star in Fantastic Four, then a full casting announcement is expected to follow. Vanessa Kirby remains the frontrunner to play Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), who is said to be the movie’s lead, with Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach playing the Human Torch and The Thing, respectively.
