Andrew Tate speaks on Drake’s new “Painted Nails”.
Meanwhile, he claims that the imprisonment derailed his plans to box either of the Paul brothers. Tate also recognized the contribution of the Paul brothers for breathing new life into boxing, expressing regret over missed opportunities of competing against the YouTube stars.
Speaking in a recent interview on Anything Goes with James English, Tate stated:
“It was all organized then I went to jail. This trial might last two or three years and then I’ll be 40, then it’s pretty much too late. At 36 I could still do it, I could still teach them all a lesson now. Fair play to them, they are young guys who are bringing life back into boxing and it’s good.”
Andrew Tate was on the brink of securing lucrative boxing bouts against Jake Paul or his older brother Logan before being arrested in December 2022. Despite facing serious charges of human trafficking and rape, Tate has maintained his innocence, denying the charges completely.
“Theres a reason I deny meeting all the famous people who try to meet me,” Tate said.
Drake, 36, is on the other side of the spectrum and often embraces his feminine side without fear of what anybody might say.
Tate’s tweet is a broad statement with plenty of room for ambiguity, but at the same time quite clearly saying he doesn’t want to be linked to feminine men. Some fans also questioned whether Tate was talking about Drake wanting to meet him, which is quite unlikely.
Drake is one of the most popular artists in the world and loved by women everywhere, so meeting Tate wouldn’t be on brand. Drake is set to kick off his It’s All A Blur tour with 21 Savage on Wednesday (July 5). The massive trek will hit 54 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada before wrapping with a pair of back to back shows in Drake’s hometown of Toronto on October 5 and October 7.
It’s All a Blur marks Drizzy’s first North American tour since 2018’s Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour alongside Migos.
The roadshow comes in support of Drake and 21’s joint album Her Loss, which arrived in November complete with cameos from Travis Scott, Birdman, Lil Yachty and more.
