The entire inking sits just below the Basquiat crown on the back of his neck, which also bears the inscription ‘King of Kings’.
Many of the 47-year-old’s 8.2million followers quickly got into a spirited debate about what the tattoo depicted exactly.
Resurfaced photos of Diddy’s full-back tattoo of the Haitian spirit Ezili Dantor have led to wild speculation online. Many have theorized that Diddy’s recent legal troubles are a result of angering the Vodou spirit, which represents the divinity of love but has also been likened to an “angry mother” by some anthropologists. Due to Diddy’s alleged victims being women and children, some believe that Ezili Dantor is working against the Bad Boy Records founder as a form of retribution.
Many insisted it was based on Poland’s famed Black Madonna of Częstochowa; others insisted it was actually the Haitian Vodou spirit of Ezili Dantor, who is in fact based on the same iconography.
The rapper shared some inspiration art a few days beforehand, Salvatore Fiume’s Madonna Nera Con Bambino, which featured a slightly cruder portrait of the same family.

Forbes says Diddy’s Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, a stake in Ciroc vodka and the $70 million sale of one-third of his Sean John clothing line all contributed to his earnings.
He was just ahead of Beyonce, with $105million in earnings.
