A shocking incident unfolded at a local mortuary in Barberton over the Christmas holiday, where 23 bodies were reported stolen along with a pair of Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. READ MORE HERE
The theft was discovered on December 26th when the mortuary staff returned to work following the holiday break. Upon inspection, they found that the facility had been entered, and 17 bodies, which had been kept in storage, were missing. The only other item taken was a new pair of sneakers that belonged to a recently deceased individual.
CCTV footage revealed that the bodies were observed being loaded into two Toyota Quantums parked adjacent to the mortuary. Additionally, the stolen Nike Air Force 1 sneakers were seen being taken from the personal belongings counter.
