He says there shouldn’t be a political attack on anyone.
Yesterday, it was reported that Frontline Aspirant in the November 6th Governorship Election and former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Charles Soludo, was reportedly attacked by some unknown gunmen.
He was attacked at at a civic centre in his hometown, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, while speaking with the youths. Suddenly, gunmen stormed the area and killed at least three police men.
Commissioner for Public Utilities, Emeka Ezenwanne was whisked away by the unknown gunmen. The Anambra state Police Commissioner, Monday Kuryas, has said that the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and Anambra state governorship aspirant, Charles Soludo, is safe.
Peter Obi wrote: “The reported attack on Prof Charles Soludo in which some security agents were killed stands condemned. Political violence should have no place in the democratic process in Anambra State. The Ballot and not the Bullet should determine the outcome of our elections.
