One of the men involved in the infamous 2016 Paris hotel robbery that left Kim Kardashian tied up in a bathtub has come out to say he doesn’t feel bad for how things played out for the reality star.

The Skims founder, who later said she feared she was going to die the night a group of men showed up at her hotel room demanding that she hand over all of her pricey belongings, was left shaking after the incident, mainly since she had no security in tow when the crime occurred.

Yunis Abbas served two years in prison for the senseless act, but in a recent interview with VICE News, he told the publication that he didn’t feel bad for Kardashian, stressing that she “should be a little less showy” on social media. “Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it, and that was that. Guilty? No, I don’t care,” he said.

“They should be a little less showy towards people who can’t afford it,” Abbas continued, referring to not just Kardashian but celebrities in general, adding that it’s insensitive for them to be flashing their wealth to others to their followers. Among the items stolen during the heist were $10 million worth of jewelry, which included the $4 million wedding ring that the TV personality was gifted by Kanye West.
