Okada Rider was found guilty of sexual abuse and sentenced to 20 years in prison for defiling a 13-year-old girl.
The Akwa Ibom State High Court in Uyo sentenced a 36-year-old commercial motorcycle operator known as “okada” in the Uyo community to 20 years in prison for raping a 13-year-old girl.
According to reports, the defendant, Anietie Bassey Etim, a native of Ikot Itie Udung in the Nsit Atai Local Government Area, rode his motorcycle with the victim to a church on a remote road and defiled her multiple times.
Justice Gabriel Ette found the rapist guilty and sentenced him to 20 years in prison in his ruling.
“You are to spend the next 20 years in prison, having been found guilty of rape.” Justice Ette ruled.
