Popular Nigerian and international novelist, Chiamanda Ngozi Adichie, has become an orphan after losing her mother on March 1, 2021 in Awka, Anambra State

According to reports, late Mrs. Grace Ifeoma Adichie took her last breath on March 1, 2021.






Her burial arrangements will be announced soon by her family members. Eight months ago, Chiamanda lost her father, late James Adichie to the cold hands of death. He passed away after a struggle with an unknown illness.


Late James Adichie was a popular author just like his daughter, Chiamanda Adichie. Chiamanda Ngozi Adichie is an educated, young woman, who claims to be a strong but disciplined feminist. She has written many notable novels, such as: Americanah, Half of a Yellow Sun, Purple Hibiscus, etc.






Late Mrs. Grace Ifeoma Adichie died at the age of 78 years old. The cause of her death is still unknown. She’s survived by six children and they’re: Ijeoma, Uchenna, Chuks, Okechukwu, Chiamanda and Kenechukwu. Late Mrs. Grace was the first female registrar of University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).
