It is alleged that the boyfriend, 29, who is a police constable in Springs, had a fight with Nompumelelo at a tavern in Duduza. When they left the tavern, the boyfriend forced Nompumelelo into his car before speeding off.

A few hours later, their lifeless bodies were found with gunshot wounds in the boyfriend’s car. It is alleged he shot himself after killing Nompumelelo. His service pistol.
