A parody account of NIMC has caused serious stirs/uproar online for Nigerians. Only a few took their time to find out if it’s the real account of NIMC or a parody account.
Taking to its parody tweet page, sent a threatening tweet to Nigerians who haven’t linked their NINs (National Identity Number) to their various SIM cards.
What does NIMC stands for? National Identity Management Commission.
Recall that last year 2020, Federal Government announced that all SIMs not linked to NIN would be blocked permanently. According to reports, it a means to ensure great security in the country due to high rate of kidnaps, robbery and bandit attacks.
