Nigerians state the reasons they don't like people from Mbaise, Imo State

Nigerians have stated the reasons they don’t like people from Mbaise, Imo State. According to a saying, ‘if you see a snake and a person from Mbaise, kill the Mbaise man/woman before killing the snake.’ 

Alot of Nigerians stated that Mbaise people always act smart especially in money issues, they are wicked and greedy. While a few Nigerians said they can’t marry a lady from Mbaise because of their ridiculous high bride price. 

Taking to her Twitter page today, Chikadibia, asked Imo and Igbo men to state the reasons they avoid Imo State women, especially the ones from Mbaise. Nigerians took to their social media platforms to reply her with their reasons. 

“Imo State and Igbo men come forward and answer, why do some of you avoid Imo State women from Mbaise? I’ve heard guys says that alot. Just an honest question btw,” Chika tweeted.

While growing up my mum will warn me never to marry any girl from mbaise. She never told me her reasons. When I got admission into sch I became friends to 2 guys from mbaise that was when I saw the reason my mother always warn me never to go there.

We avoid Mbaise women because their BRIDE PRICE list can host the whole Community. And the put family problems in the list too like

Dated an mbaise girl for 6 years
Married same girl and marriage lasted 7years. Total 13 years abi.

I am from Mbaise, Aboh to be precise. We avoid Mbaise ladies cos the family and the umunna of the Mbaise lady are so inconsiderate when giving out their daughter’s hand in marriage. They look for every means to exploit the man. My elder sis hubby went tru hell.
