Nigerians are not smiling as they demand CCTV (Closed-circuit Television) footages of the prison break that had just occurred in Benin City.
Recall that minutes ago, we reported that sponsored/paid hoodlums have set inmates in Sapele Prison, Benin City free. (Read More Here).
Now, Nigerians are taking to their social media platforms to express their disappointment in Government for paying thugs to disrupt the peaceful end SARS/SWAT protest.
So many Nigerians are unhappy with the prison break incident in Benin City, Edo State today. A few Nigerians are demanding some CCTV footages of what went down before the inmates were released. Alot of Nigerians believe that a prison can’t be broken into just like that.
I don’t think it’s possible that civilians entered a prison and release Prisoners without a gun fight. We want to see w CCTV footage of how it happened. #EndSARS,” Stone Jr. (St Louis) tweeted.
Other reactions from Nigerians:

At the Benin Prison “ATTACK” nothing was destroyed/damaged. The gate wasn’t pushed down and not even the Padlock 🔐 to the gate was broken, No CCTV footages when they broke into it, Nobody with Playcards, No Warden, who are they fooling? #EndSARS #Benin pic.twitter.com/LvosUnA2lu

2020: Nigerian policestations don’t have computers and CCTV
2020: Nigerian prisons don’t have CCTV
2020: Nigeria doesn’t have steady electricity supply.
Over 120million naira monthly on newspaper allowance and you don’t have all these.

Does the prison in Benin have CCTV? Because we need to see how it all went down. If there’s no CCTV, then that’s an absolute shame because I’m sure even a local government chairman would have CCTV in his house.

Nigerian politicians all have CCTV cameras in their houses and none in the police stations, none in the prisons. Nigeria is a joke

Prisoners are released, are there no CCTV to show how it happened? How much is CCTV? This Govt is a joke. The state Government also have their huge problem. Country is just too corrupt for any visible changes but God will use we youth to change this.
