A Nigerian youth, Richard, has revealed his reasons why he would never vote at any Nigerian elections; either Governorship or Presidential.
Richard boldly took to his Twitter page to reveal his reasons why he would never vote at any Nigerian elections. Here are his reasons:
1. Votes don’t count.
2. One has to stand under the scorching sun for hours just to vote.
3. A Nigerian voter might actually get killed while trying to exercise his/her duty as a citizen.
He ended his statement by saying that he would rather vote for an entertainer than a politician. The reason for his tweet is due to the attack Nigerian youths received from Reno. Reno once slammed Nigerian youths for voting for a Big Brother Naija housemates but they won’t come out to vote during Presidential or Governorship elections.
“Me no go ever vote for any Nigerian elections.
Votes don’t count, stand under the hot sun for hours just to vote, and probably get killed while trying to exercise your duty as a citizen. I’d rather vote in entertainment industry than politics,” Richard tweeted.
