Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems (Temilade Openiyi) have reportedly been arrested by the Ugandan police over violation of COVID-19 guidelines.
Recall that a night ago, Omah Lay and Tems performed at Speke Resort, Munyonyo, Uganda, where thousands of fans attended the concert. Ugandan artistes (Bebe Cool) and their fans took to social media to slam their police for allowing foreigners to perform in their country while they themselves can’t.

Due to the outcry, Omah Lay, the manager of the venue (Dungu Ivan), the events manager (Prim Kasana), Tems and her manager o(Muyiwa Awoniyi) were reportedly arrested. The information was made known by Uganda’s Assistant Superintendent, Lukowoyesigyire via his official Twitter account.
