Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Weird MC is celebrating her birthday in good health today as she gets in her 50s, age wise.
Shola Idowu, popularly known as, Weird MC became famous in 2006 for her hit song, entitled, “Ijoya”, produced by Don Jazzy. According to Weird Mc, she revealed in many interviews the artistes who influenced her style of songs, and those artistes are: Fela Kuti, Miriam Makeba and Queen Latifah.
Taking to her Instagram page, Weird MC penned a long message as she turns 50 today. In her post, she quoted a Bible scripture; John 3:16 – A very popular verse in the Bible.
She wrote: “It’s my day today Life remains a Gift. I never want to take it for granted. I choose to leave this here. My Name is Adeshola Idowu.
Until my Heavenly Father calls me away from this world to live eternally with him, I want to make it clear that I believe in JESUS CHRIST as the True Lord and my ONE and ONLY Saviour… “
