A Nigerian man who was unlawfully jailed has finally gained freedom after spending 7 years in Ikoyi Prisons. The sad and painful true life story was shared by a popular Nigerian Barrister, Malachy Odo on social media.
According to Barrister Malachy, he says the unidentified man was raided at Oworonshoki and roped into a crime he didn’t commit. He continued by saying that it was the brother-in-law to the unidentified man that reached out to him and his colleague.
To celebrate the victory, Barrister Malachy Odo took his Twitter page to announce that the unidentified man has finally gained freedom after he and his colleagues had fought a good fight at the court of law.
The unidentified man gained freedom today after spending 7 years in Ikoyi Prisons. May false accusations never be our portion.
“7 years in Ikoyi Prisons.
Raided at Oworonshoki and roped into a crime he knew nothing about.
His brother-in-law reached out to us here late last year and God sealed his release today,” he tweeted.
