Kim Hyun-jung, creative director of BTS, leaves Hive for Columbia Records in the U.S.
Columbia Records in the US announced that it had recruited Kim Hyun-jung, former VP (Vice President) from Hive.
Prior to joining Columbia Records, VP Kim Hyun-jung served as A&R general manager of BTS and Tomorrow by Together (TXT) and head of BTS’ creative office at Hive.
VP Kim Hyun-jung, who joined Hive in 2017, has collaborated with numerous artists such as BTS, Coldplay, Halsey, Nicki Minaj, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Prior to Hive, he worked at Sony Music Publishing Korea and Starship Entertainment.
Columbia Records, a label under Sony Music Entertainment, currently has world-renowned artists such as Beyonce, Adele, Pharrell Williams, Harry Styles, Rosalia, and The Kid. Kid Laroi) and Lil Nas X.
