National snooker player Lim Kok Leong made history yesterday, after becoming the first Malaysian to win the World Snooker Championships title in Antalya, Turkey.




The 27-year-old defeated Iran’s Amir Sarkhosh 5-0 (68-63, 67-42, 78-0, 80-7, 73-54) in the final.


In another news, Johor police confirm that 26-year-old part-time actress Syazlin Zainal died yesterday, after falling from the 22nd floor of an apartment in Taman Iskandar. 


Initial investigations did not find any elements of crime and the case was classified as a sudden death.
