National shuttlers Pearly Tan and M.Thinaah have won the French Open, becoming Malaysia’s first women’s doubles pair to clinch the title. 

They defeated Japanese pair Mayu Matsumoto and Wakana Nagahara 21-19,18-21 and 21-15.

Malaysia’s badminton women’s doubles pair Pearly Tan and M Thinaah are through to the French Open finals, after beating South Korean pair Baek Ha Na and Lee Sohee 21-13, 21-17 in Paris.

They will play Japan’s Mayu Matsumoto and Wakana Nagahara in the final tomorrow.
