N40Billion Fraud: No Hiding Place for Akpabio – EFCC
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has invited Godswill Akpabio, former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs over an allegation of abuse of office and misappropriation of billions of Naira.
There had been allegations of N40 billion fraud perpetrated in the NDDC, a ministry which was headed by Akpabio for three years.
The EFCC in an invitation letter served on Akpabio asked him to appear at its office on the 29th day of March, 2023.
Akpabio however declined the invitation and allegedly ran abroad for ‘medical attention’
