Nigerian feminist, Nkechi Bianze, has married the love of her life via traditional wedding in her hometown in Owa, Agbor, Delta state, on July 17, 2021. (Read More Here).
Taking to her Facebook page, she shared a few photos from her traditional marriage to her husband, Prince Ifeanyi Mmadinobi, who hails from Mbaise, Imo state. Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Nkechi Bianze is pregnant.
Nkechi Bianze and her husband’s traditional wedding was held in Owa, Agbor, Delta state on Saturday, July 17, 2021. After the photos of her traditional wedding began to go viral, Nigerian men and a few women rushed to social media to mock feminists who have been listening to Nkechi Bianze’s words about Nigerian men.
Nkechi Bianze has been one of Facebook and Nigeria’s most famous feminists. She has kicked against paying of bride price and kneeling to present palm wine to men during traditional wedding.
After being dragged, Nkechi Bianze took to her social media to clear the air. According to Nkechi, she says during her traditional wedding she didn’t kneel to present “glass cup of palm wine” to her husband.
She also revealed that her husband didn’t pay her bride price.
She wrote: “Yesterday, the 17th of July 2021, all roads led to Owa (Agbor) Delta State as family and friends joined the Love of my Life and I as we got married.
He is from Mbaise, Imo State.
No bride price was paid.
And I did NOT kneel down to give him drink. We BOTH STOOD up to drink.
“The Traditional Wedding was done according to the custom and traditions of my people, and we edited bits to suit us.
