Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that 41-year-old Lusaka man, Justin Musonda, arrested for murdering his 33-year-old girlfriend, Choolwe Sichiyanda, after ending their relationship after sponsoring his girlfriend’s university education.
Information reads: “This is Justin Musonda the 41-year-old man who has been arrested for allegedly murdering his 33-year-old girlfriend Choolwe Sichiyanda at a named lodge in Masala Township after she decided to end their relationship.”
Musonda who had been sponsoring his girlfriend’s tertiary education with the understanding that the two would marry once she completed snapped after she told him that she had found someone to marry her. Reports indicate that he stabbed her 19 times.
According to their Facebook accounts, Musonda is from Lusaka while Sichiyanda lived in Kitwe and the couple only used Ndola as a rendezvous point.

According to a police report, Justin Musonda stabbed his girlfriend, 19 times around 04:00 AM at a lodge where he lured her by telling her that he only wants to spend one last night with him since she is leaving him.
Justin narrated to the police that he had been sponsoring his girlfriend’s tertiary education with the view that the two would marry after completing her education. But upon completing her studies she told Justin that she could not marry him because she wanted to marry someone else who is educated as that is her type now. It was after that Justin convinced her to meet him at a lodge where he decided to murder her.
Police says Justin afterwards tried to commit suicide but was treated at the hospital and discharged into Police custody.
