Mrs Firoza Joseph (47) arrested for staging her own kidnapping.
It is alleged that police received a complaint from Dillon Joseph that his wife has been kidnapped on Clayfield Drive, Phoenix.
Joseph alleged that Mrs Joseph called him, alleging that she has been kidnapped, a few-moments later, Mr Joseph received a call from a man who threatened to hurt the woman if the money was not deposited.
Upon police investigation, it was revealed that the woman actually staged her own kidnapping and demanded R2m from the husband. Police charged her with perjury.
