Media personality Moshe Ndiki is eating humble pie after defending Dr Nandipha Magudumana following her link to Thabo Bester.

When GroundUp lifted the lid on convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester’s prison escape in March, actor and presenter Moshe Ndiki defended the notorious criminal’s accomplice, Dr Nandipha Magudumana

However, over a month later — and with the celebrity doctor facing a slew of charges, including murder the former Gomora actor is eating humble pie.

In the wake of reports about Bester’s grand escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre, Moshe Ndiki took to Twitter to defend his friend and doctor, Magudumana

The radio and TV personality said, in since-deleted tweets, claimed to be that the doctor was innocent and people should not lie on her name. Moshe also had back-and-forth arguments with social media users who were labeling the doctor guilty.

This came after it was revealed that Magudumana had been seeing Bester for some years while he was in jail and presented herself

as his “customary law wife” to collect his remains after he staged his death in a fire in May last year.

Moshe has since apologised and expressed that he regrets defending Magudumana.

The You Promised To Marry Me presenter said that he was ashamed for defending the doctor, also adding that she thanked him for it, saying she “sees God in him”.
