Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Morocco completed one of Africa’s longest tunnels, Almohades Tunnel in Casablanca at a cost of $82.1 million in 2021.
Taking to its platform, African Chart Zone reports thw completion of Morocco’s tunnels.
To ensure safety for the users, it has 88 cameras, 8 emergency exits, 600 LED spotlights.
According to information, Almohades Tunnel also has 36 bi-directional fans, a heat detection system, 84 firefighting units, and pollution detectors, a SOS phone system and an electronic sound and signal system with variable messages.

“Morocco completed one of Africa’s longest tunnels, Almohades Tunnel in Casablanca at a cost of $82.1 million in 2021.
“It is 2,179 meters long including 1,817 meters underground.
To ensure safety for the users, it has 88 cameras, 8 emergency exits, 600 LED spotlights.
“Almohades Tunnel also has 36 bi-directional fans, a heat detection system, 84 firefighting units, and pollution detectors, a SOS phone system and an electronic sound and signal system with variable messages.”
