Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Jaylen Brown is the ‘worst dunk in history of NBA’ after dunking over 4 foot guy, Kai Cenat, who sat down on his chair during dunking contest at the 2024 NBA celebrity all-star game.
Indy crowd rained down boos after Jaylen Brown dropped a special dunk with his star teammate in it. The Boston Celtics star brought his franchise superstar Jayson Tatum and YouTuber Kai Cenat for his second dunk. JB ran down the lane to jump past Cenat, who was sitting on a chair at the FT line, and slammed it after collecting the ball mid-air from Tatum.
Brown’s dunks weren’t met with the positive reception he likely would have hoped for—he received boos from the crowd after his scores were given and didn’t get much praise on social media—but he was looking to have fun, and he definitely did that.
Now Brown will focus on bigger goals than a Dunk Contest victory. After playing in Sunday’s All-Star Game, he will look to finish out the season strong with the Celtics, who sit in first place in the Eastern Conference and are gearing up for a potential NBA Finals run.

When Jaylen Brown signed up for the dunk contest, it was a great relief, as an All-Star finally made his appearance at the contest after a long time. Even JB said, “I wish there were more top players and athletes that decided to compete in the dunk contest… hopefully that comes back around,” ahead of the All-Star week.
While the Celtics star was expected to be crowned at the event with a lot of cheers, he was showered in boos. Many in the social media commented that the dunk involving Kai Cenat was the lamest dunk of the contest. Despite the fans’ outcry on social media, he came second in the contest.
Brown missed the dunk on his first attempt, but went all out on the second attempt. However, the crowd wasn’t pleased by the act, as they followed it up with boos. And, importantly, the LED court turned into an iconic TD Garden court following the dunk.
